Hm, so the past assassination of the bandits may have been the church getting involved so that the troublesome woman wouldn’t get proposed to by the crown prince.
Sure, she probably didn’t have as many interactions with him in the first life, but considering her strong will to oppose all the other nobles, and her similar look to the late empress (For crying out loud Johannes.. ^^”)
One can only assume that she died without even knowing the real cause behind the scenes.
