that old dragon may very well come to find that the MC will be to powerful by the time he gets back to the dragon and very well might end up as part of the team full time . i personally think the MC should have asked Mr dragon where the rest of his SET is located so that his scythe can become more powerful since his is in fact a FULL SET which he only has the scythe for currently even simply asking where even 1 more set piece if located would be a massive boon to his growth .
the easiest method is the one in which a formation is used the second is by using mythic level items like his creation scepter and the most powerful is the one of maxing out at least one stat to over 10 million but for our MC i do not think that is gonna be very much of an issue at all
